I hope youall had a Blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year. As we look ahead to the 2nd half of this fraternal year our thoughts shift from holiday mode back to membership mode. As we know, recruitment is everyone’s responsibility and we should plan to increase our efforts to achieve our membership goals for our councils for this fraternal year. I encourage councils to recruit smartly and at every council event. Consider selecting one brother knight who will “work the crowd” looking for a few good men to ask to become a member of our Knights of Columbus. There will be a 2nd Degree on Tuesday January 10 at Montgomery Council at 8PM, candidates at 7:30PM. In addition there will be 3rd degree on Friday, January 13 at 7:30, candidates at 7PM. If you are a first or second degree knight please speak to your Grand Knight to get additional information. By taking your second and third degree it will reaffirm your commitment to the Knights of Columbus, its basic principles and bring you to full Knighthood at the 3rd degree.
